Carol Ofori: "My most anticipated interview of 2022 was with Lindsay Myeni"

"I was so humbled by her..."
2022 was a year filled with great content for Carol Ofori and her team.
Not only did this year bring with it challenges, but it also showed us how resilient the people of KZN and South Africa can be.
One of the most mind-boggling stories of 2021 was the murder of Lindani Myeni. The former KZN rugby player was murdered by Honolulu Police Officers after there was a dispute over his identity.
The immense sadness and injustice regarding his death has left many people (not just from South Africa) heartbroken and angry.
But his family are the ones that are left with the deep sense of loss as their son, husband, father, and brother will never return home.
Carol Ofori managed to speak with Lindsay Myeni, Lindani's widow, this year and when we asked her about her most anticipated interview of 2022, she responded by saying: "I was so nervous for that interview."

Carol went on to say that as much as she was so nervous, the interview went so well. Lindsay was so humble and was so willing to speak.
And considering what she has been through, it could not have been easy for her to share and be so forthcoming.
In addition, Carol didn't expect her to come with her baby girl, but she did, and this beautiful child was a spitting image of her late father.
All in all, Lindsay believed that by sharing their story, perhaps some form of justice will come to be one day.
