THIS WEEK: Carol Ofori announces V for Vasectomy finalists

It's about that time...
We started off with a bang, literally when Carol Ofori invited Dr. Shiven Ramkissoon into studio to chat about the topic of vasectomies. The topic started trending on Twitter after a young man decided to share his experience of getting a vasectomy.
From there it was all up hill and turning this into something of a first in radio, just on point for Carol Ofori. Carol Ofori asked Dr. Shiven Ramkissoon if he would be open to sponsoring a vasectomy, and boom it all started...

And then more than a week later, after more than 150 email entries, there are four finalists. The team is so excited because it has been an emotional journey...
The emotions have run wild, most specifically because when you think of 'vasectomy' you don't think about the real stories behind it. And these couples have not only taught us about true love, but also about true hardship.

Sometimes life can present things to you in different ways. And this initiative has certainly come at the perfect timing for some of these couples, who have been having this conversation for some time now.
This has been one of the main components of selecting the finalists. Notwithstanding the medical side of their stories, to which Dr. Ramkissoon's wealth of knowledge has widely contributed to. Check out their stories below.
