Boy, 14, starts lawn mowing business to help with his adoption

A beautiful story between a young boy and his stepdad...

There is a common stereotype about step parents. They have been notoriously painted as the villains.

And the truth of the matter is that isn't always the case. Yes, there are some step parents who are not ideal, but there are those that just fall so easily into the parent role.

This story is indicative of that kind of step parent. A young boy's love for his stepfather shone through when he posted something on Facebook that has since blown up.

Tyce Rey Diaz asked his mother for a business loan as a way of starting up his own lawn mowing business. His intentions were to help his parents with legal fees.

Tyce was just two when his mom began a relationship with his now stepfather, Eric Jenkins. Four years later, they married and Tyce says when he thinks of the word 'dad', all he pictures is Eric.

The young boy's bond with his stepfather is exceptional and this was seen when Eric and Tyce's mother, Marcy, sought out help from a lawyer to make things official.

"Marcy and Eric found a lawyer who would help them pro bono, but they still needed a few thousand dollars to cover all of the necessary fees. It would be a financial strain on the family, but it would be worth it." (Goalcast)

This motivated young Tyce to start his lawn mowing business so that he could help his father adopt him.

Emotional and certainly heartwarming.

Check out his post below. Safe to say since the post, he has been really busy...

At a mere fourteen, this young man is using the good that has come to him to pay it forward.

Check out what he said in the below post, where he was going to use the money he was paid to help another family.

And here is a nice gesture from a graphics team helping Tyce with some signage so he can grow his business.
