Attention all adrenaline junkies: A new ride has opened at Hotel Sky in Cape Town
Hotel Sky in Cape Town has opened up an exhilarating new ride called Sky-High and people get to experience the amazing views that Cape Town has to offer whilst getting a thrill with g-force.
Hotel Sky Cape Town is a popular host to both leisure and business travellers and also "offers unsurpassed panoramic views across the City Bowl to Table Mountain and out over the Waterfront and Table Bay from most floors..." (Hotel Sky Webpage).
Even with all that to offer, they have gone over and beyond to bring a continent first. Sky-High Ride is the first of its kind in Africa and is a 30m-high ride perched at the top of the 28-floor hotel.
"Sky-High Ride - exhilarating, gravity-defying, breath-taking drop, reaching a free fall speed of up to 100km per hour and almost 4G's...towering 35 meters above the Cape Town City bowl giving you a bird's eye view of one of the most beautiful cities in the World - Cape Town is one of only three in the world and the first of its kind in Africa," Booking page explains.
Bookings are available for both riders (R250 per person) and observers. So there's no pressure for those of you who don't want to ride but want to be a part of the experience...
