It's not often that we see motorists being kind to one another, especially at a busy intersection.

There's definitely something about driving that brings out the worst in many people.

Perhaps it is the fumes from the vehicles or the impatience of dealing with drivers who don't meet your standards - or it could just be the entitlement of some drivers.

Whatever the reason, it's challenging to find a patient driver, period.

But this wonderful clip shared by the Boynton Beach Police in Florida shows how strangers can come together to help someone in need.

A woman fell ill whilst at the wheel of her car on a busy US junction - and her fellow motorists helped save her life.

"The car was moving towards traffic on a busy Florida junction, with the driver seemingly unable to stop. Strangers smashed the window to get to her and moved the car to safety." (Instagram)

It is absolutely endearing to see strangers come together to help this woman in her time of need.

So often we find that people don't stop to help out of fear, or worse, because they are rushing...

But sometimes those are the moments that you have to take the time to show a sense of humanity.
