Springboks trophy bus tour routes

The 2019 World Rugby Cup
champions will be kicking off their victory tour on Thursday, parading across the country
with The Webb Ellis Cup which SA Rugby says it will take
out insurance for, to the value of ₤30 000, roughly R570 000.
SA Rugby says it will appoint a person to manage the movement of the trophy during the tour. Only the RWC winning squad and authorised personnel will be allowed to handle the trophy. The team is authorised handle the trophy without gloves, however all other people will be required to wear gloves.
The planned tour stops are as follow:

Thursday, 7 November: Pretoria parade commences at 10h00
• Enter Tshwane via N4 (Witbank Freeway)
• Turn left in Gordon / Jan Shoba
• Right into Burnett Street
• Left into Park Street
• Left into Kirknessstreet, past Loftus Versfeld
• Right into Lynnwood via Areyengtoutethrough Sunnyside
• Right into Paul Kruger Street, around Church Square
• Right into Madiba Street
• Stop at Tshwane House to meet the Mayor
• 14th Ave via Sisulu Street
11H00 Pretoria parade ends
Thursday, 7 November: Johannesburg parade commences at 13h30
• N1 Western Bypass. TakeM1toSmit St in Johannesburg.
• Take exit12fromDe Villiers Graaff Motorway/M1
• Continue on Smit St. Drive to Simmonds St
• Team Stop at FNB Offices
• Right into Anderson Street
• Left to Soweto Hwy/M70
14h15 Johannesburg parade ends
Thursday, 7 November: Soweto parade commences at 15h00
• Bara to Maponya mall
• Straight along Chris Hani to Koma road and Jabulani Mall
• Bolani Road to Hector Peterson Memorial
• Drive down and join the Klipspruit Valley Road
• Drive behind Orlando Stadium
• At the traffic light turn right

Friday, 8 November: Durban parade commences at 10h00
07H30 Depart OR Tambo Airport for Durban
City Hall: Coach, Captain and Trophy will depart the bus and greet the Mayor of Durban on the City Hall steps. Each person will give a short speech.
