A teenager lands a beauty in Australia. There they call her catch a tailor.

Here in South Africa this species is known as shad.

It is a pretty large one. Shad have sharp teeth and generally you will need a steel trace to prevent one from biting through your line.

Latest reports from the KZN coast suggests that shad are being caught on a regular basis - with some decent ones landed just north of the Umgeni mouth.

But let us stick with the Aussies and their tailor for now.
