Success for Glenwood High boys
Updated | By Andre Bloem

Glenwood High head boy, Callan Pearce, has signed a contract with US baseball team the Minnesota Twins.
His career will start by playing minor league baseball in the rookie league. Callan will hopefully have the opportunity to play major league baseball one day.
Two other Glenwood learners, Andile Phehlukwayo and Nipho Madwe, are training with the SA U-19 squad as they prepare for the U-19 Cricket World Cup.
Keegan Hezlett has recently been included in the SA 2014 Youth Olympic hockey squad.
Dayne Odendaal won a bronze medal in the 200m butterfly at Senior Irish National Championships in Ireland last week. This is a massive achievement as Dayne is still in grade 12 at Glenwood and was competing against international swimmers in Ireland.
