Sancho to United complete
Updated | By Nick Tatham
After over a year of speculation, England playmaker Jadon
Sancho will join Manchester United at the beginning of next season.
The Red Devils have been in pursuit of the Borussia Dortmund winger for two seasons and have eventually landed their man ahead of the new campaign.
The move was eventually confirmed by Dortmund who say the deal is in the region of 85 million Euros but duration of the deal and other details are yet to be confirmed however reports suggest the deal will last five years.
"The contractual details now have to be coordinated and completed," said Dortmund in their statement.
"Moreover, the formal processing of the transfer is still subject to the successful completion of all necessary medical tests and examinations."
Initially Dortmund wanted 100 million Euros for the 21 year-old but United were unable to reach that target but have had their next bid accepted by the German outfit.
Sancho is currently with the England side at Euro 2020 where
they face the Ukraine in the quarter-finals.
Sancho is still yet to make an appearance at the tournament for the Three
Lions.
