Ryder critical after attack

Police in New Zealand are searching for three men suspected of assaulting cricketer Jesse Ryder.

The Black Caps player was attacked in Christchurch on Thursday.

Ryder is in critical condition and in an induced coma.

He has a fractured skull and also a punctured lung.

Ryder has played in 18 Tests, 39 ODIs and 20 T20 internationals.
