[Listen] - Komphela the pitch didn't allow us to play
Updated | By Sky Tshabalala
Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela has lamented the condition of Free State Rugby Stadium pitch following thier 1-1 draw against Bloemfontein Celtic.

Former Celtic players combined for Chiefs' opener as Keagan Buchanan's corner was converted by Erick Mathoho inside the final 10 minutes of the first half.
Parity was restored in the second half as Lorenzo Gordinho conceded a penalty and Atusaye Nyondo slotted home.
Celtic enjoyed the majority of the possession creating the majority of the chances especially in the first half.
Chiefs had lost two years in a row under Komphela on the opening day and Eric Mathoho’s opening goal in the 36th minute appeared to finally end this unwelcome statistic.
Chiefs seemed to be out of sorts , failing to conduct meaningful attacks with coach Steve Komphela saying the pitch did not allow his troops to play the football they had planned to execute.
