Klusener to coach Durban T20 franchise

Following the recent acquisition of the six CSA T20 league teams, the Durban-based side has appointed former Hollywoodbets Dolphins coach Lance Klusener as the team's head coach, the owners, the RPSG Group, announced in a statement on Monday.
Klusener represented the Dolphins as well as the Proteas where he ended the 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup as the Player of the Tournament. The former all-rounder has had a strong coaching career that started in Durban.
Following his time with the Dolphins, Klusener has been with the Afghanistan national men’s side as well as with Zimbabwe but will return to his home province to take up the role with the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium-based team.

“I am honoured to join the RPSG family,” he said in a statement via the RPSG Group. “This is a new challenge for me. It makes me very proud. I am looking forward to meeting the team.”
This is the first public appointment made by any of the six franchises that were all confirmed last week.
The RPSG Group are the owners of the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League.
