Kaizer Chiefs part ways with head coach Stuart Baxter
Updated | By Anastasi Mokgobu
Kaizer Chiefs have announced the immediate departure of head coach Stuart Baxter - just 10 months after he returned to Naturena for a second stint in charge of the club.
Baxter had signed a contract until 2023 with an option to renew it for a further two years.
But following a string of disappointing results, the club released a statement on Thursday evening confirming that an agreement had been reached for the early termination of Baxter’s contract with immediate effect.
In his second spell, Baxter led the team in 23 matches of which the team managed to win nine, draw six and lose eight.
The team scored 25 goals and conceded 23 during that time.
