De Kock ready to deal with World Cup pressure

Quinton De Kock says he has grown in stature since the 2015 World Cup.
The Proteas wicket-keeper batsman, still only 26, is now a senior member of the squad.
De Kock fronted up to the media ahead of Wednesday’s must-win encounter against New Zealand.
“I think, obviously, 2015 I was young, well, I'm still a youngster now, but back then I was really a baby. I was playing my first ever World Cup. I think I put too much pressure on myself. I really wanted to do well,” De Kock said.

“I understand what I did wrong in the first one,” De Kock who featured in the semi-final which the Proteas lost against New Zealand at Eden Park said.
“I understand what needs to get done now, just being mentally free.”

“Just trying to enjoy my cricket as much as I can, not like last time in the World Cup. There was too many pressures on myself, or I was putting too much pressure on myself. This year I'm trying to take it as easy as I can and just try and do my best,” De Kock concluded.
