Tottenham Hotspur lost their London derby yesterday.

Fulham edged Spurs 1-0 at White Hart Lane.

Dimitar Berbatov netted the Fulham winner.

Wigan Athletic won the other Premiership fixture played yesterday.

The Latics defeated Newcastle United 2-1.

Arouna Kone fired a late winner at the DW Stadium.

Mario Balotelli continues to shine in the colours of AC Milan.

Balotelli scored both goals in their Serie A victory over Palermo on Sunday.

Lionel Messi also scored twice yesterday.

His goals helped Barcelona to a 3-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish Primera Liga.
