Two suspected of killing friend to remain behind bars

The case against two man who were arrested for the murder of their friend has been remanded for next week.
Lindani Mbatha and Nzukwiswa Giwose appeared in in the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court this week for the alleged carjacking and murder of their friend Wandamusa Koza.
Koza’s body was found with multiple stab wounds in a sports ground at G section in KwaMashu, north of Durban.
KZN police spokesperson Thenjiswa Ngcobo says Koza had already been reported missing after he ileft home on 31 December last year and never returned.
"Intensive investigation led the police to Glendale near Maphumulo area where his vehicle was recovered," says Ngcobo.
Ngcobo says the two men were arrested on Tuesday.
“Further investigations resulted in the arrest of Mbatha on 10 January 2023. I’ll His friend Giwose was arrested a day later at a traditional healer’s residence in Siyanda."
Police also recovered a dagger knife which was suspected to have been in the commission of the crime as well as the deceased’s cell phone.
