KwaZulu-Natal authorities are investigating accidents that left two people dead in Durban and Pietermariztburg at the weekend.

Yesterday, a 35-year-old man was killed after being knocked over by a car near the Queen Nandi Drive off-ramp in Durban.
Crisis Medical's Kyle van Reenen says the man died before they arrived.
"Unfortunately, there was nothing that paramedics could do for him and he was declared dead on our arrival. The driver and single occupant of the light motor vehicle didn't sustain any injuries and was attended to on scene and was given a clean bill of health," he said.
On Saturday in Pietermaritzburg, a woman was struck by a car while apparently trying to cross the N3 highway.
