July 'unrest instigator' goes on trial in PMB

An alleged instigator of the July unrest linked to the burning of Pietermaritzburg's Brookside Mall is going on trial on Thursday.
Ndumiseni Zuma has been charged with incitement to commit public violence and incitement to commit arson.

The 35-year-old, who'll line up before the Pietermaritzburg Regional Court, has been in custody since his arrest in August last year, following an unsuccessful bail application on appeal.

The former security guard's believed to have shared a video of himself calling for the destruction of the mall during the peak of the riots.
