BREAKING: COVID-19 SA cases now 51

The number of positive coronavirus cases in our country now stands at 51.
This comes as 13 new cases have been confirmed. KZN sees one new positive case - taking our provincial tally to 12. A breakdown by the National Health Department shows that 7 of the latest cases are in Gauteng, 5 in the Western Cape and 1 in new case in KZN in the form of a 34 year old man who had travelled to the UK.
Other countries the 13 new victims had been to include Iran, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Netherlands.
Meanwhile reports are that the group of over 100 who spent the first night under quarantine at a hotel in Limpopo have settled in well with no reported incidents.
Last night the Health Minister and Deputy Minister held an urgent National Health Council meeting with all the Provincial MECs and HODs for Health where it was agreed that in order to minimize the risk of further spread of the virus, contact tracing must be done within 48 hours.
Later today the president is expected to address the nation after holding an urgent cabinet and give further updates and measures to be taken.
