Back in business! Zuraida Jardine named new 'Afternoon Express' host

Zuraida Jardine is thrilled to be back on the small screen.
South African media personality Zuraida Jardine has been announced as a new 'Afternoon Express' host.
The 48-year-old has been out of the spotlight for several years. Zuraida took a break to focus on her family. She is married to creative director and executive producer, Josh Lindberg.
The pair have two children together - Shia and Zaria Lindberg.
The former 'Big Brother Africa' TV presenter also took time off for her studies. Zuraida graduated from Wits University in 2018, where she obtained a psychology degree.
Zee, as she is also known, is ready to step back into the spotlight. Her first day back on TV was Tuesday, July 18.
"My decade-long devotion to studying and practising in the realm of health and wellness has equipped me with profound knowledge in psychology, functional medicine, breathwork therapy, and critical health studies, which I am eager to share with you. My unique expertise in wellness affords me a different lens through which to host this new direction for the show and connect with the audience," she said in a statement.
Zuraida added that she is looking forward to viewers joining her on this "enriching journey towards a healthier life".

S3 Programme Manager Sane Zondi says she is excited to have Zuraida back on the channel.

Afternoon Express viewers are sure to get a wealth of inspiration and new perspective on some of the issues we grapple with on a daily basis in this fast evolving world.”
Zuraida's friends, family, and fans are thrilled to see her back on their TV screens.
"Just in awe of how you continue to grow and evolve my, Zee. So VERY, VERY proud of you!!!! That’s my #bestfriend everybody!!!!!" her best friend Vanessa Carreira-Coutroulis commented on Instagram.
Fellow TV presenter Roxy Burger wrote: "This is the best news I’ve seen all day!!! How amazing to have you back on our screens Zee. You have always been such an inspiration to me. Lots of love. Will be watching."
Media personality Sureshnie Rieder added: "My friend!! My ZeePowa! This is brilliant and I’m so so proud of you!"
