The Weeknd sings Ariana Grande's praises: 'That woman is a beast on pro tools'
"We need to talk more about women producers" - Ariana Grande and Doja Cat are getting recognised for their production skills.
The Weeknd thinks Ariana Grande is more than just an amazing singer. The 'Blinding Lights' hitmaker took to Twitter to co-sign a comment made by producer Kenny Beats about female producers.
Kenny gave Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, King Princess, and Rosalia props for their production skills in the studio.
"Ariana Grande is insane at comping vocals with 100 stacks. Rosalia engineers herself at the highest level King Princess will walk around a room and play everything + track alone Doja has beats of her own that are unreal," he wrote.

The Weeknd, whose single, 'Sacrifice', is currently at number four on The East Coast Radio Top 40, couldn't agree more.
"I’ve seen Ariana work in real-time. That woman is a BEAST on pro tools," he said about the 28-year-old singer.
Ariana and The Weeknd previously worked together on the song, 'Save Your Tears'. They also collaborated on 'Love Me Harder' and 'Off The Table'.

Meanwhile, Ariana is gearing up for the release of a wicked new project. The singer revealed on Instagram that her upcoming movie musical, 'Wicked', will have two instalments.
The films are due for release during the 2024 and 2025 festive seasons. Director Jon M. Chu explained why they decided to release two movies instead of one.
"As we prepared this production over the last year, it became increasingly clear that it would be impossible to wrestle the story of WICKED into a single film without doing some real damage to it. As we tried to cut songs or trim characters, those decisions began to feel like fatal compromises to the source material that has entertained us all for so many years," he said in a statement.
Chu added that turning the project into two films just made sense.
"We decided to give ourselves a bigger canvas and make not just one WICKED movie but TWO!!!! With more space, we can tell the story of WICKED as it was meant to be told while bringing even more depth and surprise to the journeys of these beloved characters."
'Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch' is a 1995 novel written by Gregory Maguire. It is the prequel to 'Wizard of Oz'. The film adaptation of 'Wicked' will be based on the award-winning Broadway musical.
Ariana Grande plays Glinda, while Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba.
