WATCH: Thato Mosehle teaches Miss Supranational roommate SA lingo

Baie dankie or buy a donkey? Miss Supranational SA, Thato Mosehle, gave her roommate Shivali Patel a lesson about South Africa's popular phrases.
Miss Supranational is less than two weeks away from crowning its winner and South Africa's Thato Mosehle has her eye on the crown.
Thato touched down in Poland a week ago and is ready to show the world what Mzansi is made of. She has already impressed the judges with her poise and grace.
When she is not taking part in the preliminary activities, the 25-year-old his bonding with her roommate, Miss Supranational USA Shivali Patel.
The beauty queens teamed up for a fun video about South African phrases. Shivali, who hopes to one day speak 10 languages, got off to a rocky start.
Before she could even get to phrase one, she got tongue-tied pronouncing ‘isiXhosa’.
Korsa? Thosa? It's all in the click, girl!
Some of the lingo Thato taught Shivali included "moghel", "lekker", "sbwl", and "bathong".
She also learned phrases like “sho’t left”, "awe ma se kind", "now now", and “baie dankie” - which Thato told her sounds like "buy a donkey".

Thato has advanced to the semi-finals of the Miss Supranational pageant.
"Wow!!! Speechless right now!!! I’m so humbled! Thank you to every single person who voted for me and also to the judges! It is no secret that being able to speak and have my voice be heard on this platform is so important to me and I’m grateful to the @misssupranational for allowing incredible women from all over the world to do that," she wrote on Instagram.
We're crossing fingers she makes it to the Top 24! Miss Supranational will crown its new beauty queen on August 21.
