Watch Kristen Stewart play Princess Diana in new 'Spencer' teaser trailer
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Did she nail it? Princess Diana fans are weighing in on Kristen Stewart's performance after a new teaser for 'Spencer' dropped this week.
Kristen Stewart is gearing up for the role of a lifetime. 'Spencer', a new film about Princess Diana, will have its world premiere in a few days.
Kristen plays the late princess in the biopic and moviegoers are eager to see if she pulled off the role.
Judging by the official teaser trailer, the 'Twilight' star has done a pretty good job!
The trailer dropped during Neon’s CinemaCon presentation on Thursday. We were able to hear Kristen's Diana accent for the first time and get a closer look at her portrayal of the iconic royal.
There was a lot of skepticism when Kristen was announced as the actress who would take on the role. But the reaction to the trailer has been mostly positive.
"She's pulled that off quite well. Body language and mannerisms, even Diana's looks," one YouTube user commented.
Another user added: "God they really pulled off a miracle, this looks perfect in every sense."
Kristen speaks just two words in the trailer, but many social media users think she nailed the accent.

Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín, who helmed the biopic, said last year that Kristen was the perfect choice for Diana.
He told Deadline that the 31-year-old actress has something very important to pull off the role.
"Kristin is one of the great actors around today. To do this well, you need something very important in film, which is mystery. Kristin can be many things, and she can be very mysterious and very fragile and ultimately very strong as well, which is what we need. The combination of those elements made me think of her," he said.
'Spencer' will debut at the Venice Film Festival on September 3. The film will be released in cinemas on November 3.
