Unathi set to share weight-loss secrets in new book

Unathi Msengana will be sharing fitness tips in a new book about her amazing 30kg weight-loss journey.
Four years ago Unathi Msengana made one of the biggest decisions of her life. She decided to finally do something about her weight.
And now, at 30 kilograms lighter, the musician is showing off her hard work in the latest True Love magazine.
Unathi says she decided enough was enough when her weight started to affect her career.
"I was scared. I work in a superficial industry and was not getting bookings. Things needed to change. I knew 80% of the problem was in the kitchen, so I cut diary, wheat and sugar. I started making my own meals," she told the publication.
The 'Idols SA' judge has made no secret about her weight loss struggles. She regularly shares pictures of her transformation on her Instagram page.
Unathi also dishes out words of encouragement to her 408,000 followers.
Her fans are not the only ones taking notes. A publisher has agreed to release a book about her amazing weight-loss journey.
Unathi says she wants inspire other women to achieve their weight goals.
"I’m not a fitness guru. I see the pain and hopelessness in women, and I hate that. It kills me when someone has given up on themselves so that’s why I am writing this book,” she told True Love.
It looks all those squats she has been doing at the gym are paying off.
