UK man banned from carrying eggs in public after "attacking" King Charles
Egg-scuse me! This UK man could be arrested if he is found with eggs in his possession in public.
UK officials have taken tough action against a man who pelted King Charles and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, with eggs.
Patrick Thelwell threw the eggs at the high-ranking royals during their walkabout in York. They were in the city to unveil a statue of the King's late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
A video taken during the incident shows Patrick, an Extinction Rebellion activist, throwing three eggs at the 73-year-old.
Patrick was restrained by police at the scene. The University of York student can be heard shouting, "Not my king!".
"This country was built on the blood of slaves," he added.
The crowd that had gathered to see the king booed the man and shouted, "Shame on you!". Both Charles and Camila remained calm throughout the incident, seemingly unfazed by the drama.

According to The Mirror, Patrick's bail conditions ban him from carrying eggs in public. He must also stay 500 metres away from the King.
He told the publication that the crowd was screaming at him with "pure rage".
"People were ripping chunks of my hair out, they were spitting at me. People lost their minds. It's just so revealing to see when you challenge someone’s beliefs in that way, the belief of the superiority of this man’s blood," Patrick said.
Patrick told Jezebel that he can only carry eggs if he is returning from the grocery store. He must also be in possession of a receipt for said eggs.
"They thought about [it] and said, actually that’s a bit harsh, what happens if he wants to eat some eggs?” the 23-year-old told the publication.
He has been charged with disturbing the public order.
