Trevor Noah's show bans live audience amid coronavirus fears

The coronavirus is causing havoc around the world, and the ripple effect of the outbreak is affecting production on some of the biggest TV shows.
Trevor Noah revealed this week that 'The Daily Show' will not tape with a live audience from next week to help combat the spread of the coronavirus.
Many late-night shows in New York and Los Angeles have either stopped production or banned audiences from attending.
'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' has also decided to ditch its audience.
Trevor, being the stand-up comedian that he is, decided to bid farewell to his studio audience with a song.

Popular shows like 'Riverdale' have suspended the production of their current season.
Movie releases are also being affected. 'Fast & Furious 9', which was expected to make its debut in May 2020, will now be delayed until April 2021.

Meanwhile, Tom Hanks, who contracted the coronavirus while working in Australia, remains in isolation.
His wife Rita Wilson also tested positive.
"@ritawilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else... We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no?" he wrote on Instagram.
President Donald Trump has temporarily imposed a travel on 26 European countries that are part of the Schengen area to prevent the spread of the virus.
The ban will last 30 days and won't affect US citizens or legal permanent residents and their immediate family members.
