The comedian has thanked the lockdown for making him fall in love with his afro...
Trevor Noah has been rocking an afro for some time now.
The comedian explained what made him decide to not shave his hair during a recent episode of 'The Daily Show'.
He says it all started during the COVID-19 lockdown where movement was restricted and visiting the barber was not permitted.
"So there was a pandemic and then I decided, I was like, 'Man, I can't see my barber, so I'm gonna grow this hair'," said the comedian.

"The truth is, no one could cut the hair. Remember there was a part we just couldn't cut our hair," he explained.
He added that he was not confident enough to cut his own hair and it just kept growing.
The television personality says he has now learned to appreciate his afro.
“What happened was really interesting. At some point, I was like ‘oh, I forgot how fun it is to have hair, especially an afro’. Small things you don’t think about that you don’t appreciate with an afro like one, my head is never hot nor cold anymore. On a hot day, I’m fine. On a cold day, I’m fine,” he said.
