Solange Knowles will be ringing in the New Year in South Africa.
New Year's Eve is months away, but we can already tell you which will be the biggest party of the night.
The AFROPUNKfestival will be coming to South Africa in December, and it's bringing Solange Knowles along with it.
The Grammy Award winner has been announced as the headline act for the festival, which will be taking place in SA for the very first time.
"Very excited to bring in my new year in Johannesburg headlining @afropunk," Solange said on Instagram.
Other artists set to perform at the two-day festival include Paak, Laura Mvula, King Tha vs Blk Jks, Theo Parrish, Black Motion, Spoek Mathambo, Manthe Ribane ft OKZharp, and The Brother Moves On.
More musicians will be announced in the coming months.
The festival, which will be taking place on 30 and 31 December, will be held at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg.
Other cities to host the event include Paris, London, and New York.
"The move to Johannesburg is a natural fit, in line with Afropunk’s desire to make connections throughout the diaspora, creating bonds between those with a shared mind-set,” the festival said in a press release.
