Nothing can stop Skolopad from loving herself!
Skolopad has taken to Instagram to share some candid pictures of her shocking hair loss due to alopecia.
The entertainer, whose real name is Nonhlanhla Qwabe, hopes sharing the pictures will encourage other women to love themselves regardless of what society may view as imperfections.
According to the Daily Sun, Skolopad developed alopecia after undergoing acne treatment.
A report by Healthline reveals that certain medications used to treat severe acne - such as nodular acne, can cause temporary hair loss.
Skolopad hosted a free workshop to empower people about self-love.
"Self-love start[s] with you then the rest will follow... I'm having a program where I'll be telling people to love themselves the way they are. Some of the things can't be changed... if I don't accept it I'll [be] heartbroken... more especially [in] today's society where their joy is full of bullying others," the 38-year-old wrote on Instagram

Gail Mabalane has also spoken candidly about her struggle with alopecia. The actress launched a hair care line in March to transform the industry with "knowledge, empowerment, and honesty" after her hair loss experience.
She developed alopecia after constantly wearing her hair in a tight bun. American actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who also suffers from alopecia, made headlines during Sunday night's Oscars.
Her husband, Will Smith, slapped Chris Rock after he made a joke about her shaven head on stage.
