SK Khoza's ex Ayanda Hlongwane speaks out: "His abuse led to my miscarriage"

"I may not be able to fight you physically, but I will defend myself" - Ayanda Hlongwane.
SK Khoza's ex-fiancée Ayanda Hlongwane is sharing her side of the story about recent comments he made about their relationship.
'The Queen' star talked about their romance during an episode of TT Mbha's Instagram Live Show, 'Ama-Tyma Wellness Check-in'.
He opened up about his mental health during the interview and commented on a "disturbing" viral video that showed him involved in an altercation with an unidentified man.
The actor also touched on the abuse allegations that were levelled against him in 2021. According to the Sunday World, SK Khoza was released on R2,000 bail in October last year after he allegedly assaulted Ayanda.
She reportedly accused him of beating and dragging her on the floor. While SK has admitted to being emotionally abusive towards Ayanda during their relationship, he denied hitting her during his chat with TT Mbha.
"This is my question to South Africa... Why hasn’t anybody called me to ask if I hit Ayanda Hlongwane? Does my country know that I went to court six and seven times and Ayanda never pitched, not once and she had to be subpoenaed? When Ayanda arrived, she went to sign that she wants to drop the charges and reconcile with me," he said.
Ayanda has clapped back at his claim.
"I only dropped the charges because he asked for mediation and there’s the letter from his lawyer. My lawyer was communicating with me and did tell me that I'll go to court only when I’m needed and that was when I went to sign that I agree for the meditation," she wrote on Instagram.ALSO READ: Lira celebrates SAMA nomination, shares health update
"I suffered all of this because I asked for help in dealing with his abuse that led to my miscarriage and the other side of his life that I found out about. It’s weird how with every person his been with, they are portrayed as crazy and yena he has proof but is just not that person to expose them, as he now says that about me... Talk about screenshots... I [got] more from everyone who finally also came up and showed me what was going on.," Ayanda wrote.
During his interview with TT, SK also questioned why Ayanda did not take any pictures of the alleged abuse.
"Nobody asked me. When I read in the papers, they said that she was in the hospital with broken ribs and a swollen face. I know a lot of abused women in the world, and I know that what you do is you take footage of that to show the world the kind of abuse you’re going through," he said.
Ayanda included a picture of the injuries that he allegedly caused in her post.
"As if [your] abuse was not enough. Now you want to dictate how I should heal and handle this by asking why I didn’t talk or come out to talk about this. I’ve been trying to deal with this privately and the way I see best fit for me not for clout... I may not be able to fight you physically but I will defend myself because this is still emotional abuse," she concluded.
