Saint or Sinner... Celebs react to Cape Town club exposing non-paying patrons
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
A champagne bar and lounge in Cape Town posted pictures of the "most wanted" customers who owe them money.
A venue in Cape Town is making headlines after it took to social media to put patrons on blast for not paying their alcohol bills.
Saint Champagne Bar & Lounge had South Africans - including stars such as Pearl Thusi and Mihlali Ndamase - talking after sharing an eyebrow-raising warning on its platforms.
"Urgent notice! Attention all customers... please note that you only have 12 hours to pay your outstanding and overdue payment balances. Should you not pay your balance within the stipulated time, we would have no choice but to make your identities public on social media with your outstanding amounts," the warning read.
The post worked as some patrons rushed to pay their overdue bar tabs.

But some were still in arrears and Saint made it clear that it was not playing games. South Africans waited with bated breath and popcorn in hand as the clock ticked.
#Saint started trending on Twitter with celebrities weighing in on the scandal!
"Hectic," Pearl Thusi commented on Instagram.
Author Khaya Dlanga shared his thoughts. "Saint was like, 'I don’t want peace, I want problems!'," he wrote. Khaya added in another comment: "It’s been more than 12 hours, I am waiting to see something on this page."
The plot thickened when Mihlali Ndamase stepped into the comments. "I wish you kept the same energy when it comes to paying hosts," she said.
The award-winning influencer recently exposed big brands - including Saint - for failing to pay her for work. Some had not paid her for months.
Mihlali revealed in one Instagram Story that she hosted an event for Saint in August and is still waiting for her money.
"Kindly advise when I can expect my money my angles?" she wrote.

In a strange twist of fate, it seems Saint took a leaf out of Mihlali's book when it turned to social media to name and shame clubgoers with outstanding debts.
The club did not appear to respond to Mihlali's comment. It did, however, go through with its threats. Saint posted three picture of its "most wanted" offenders on all its social media timelines, including Facebook and Twitter.
"We have reached out to you numerous times. In the form of phone calls, emails, and text messages yet we have not received a response. Please pay what you owe Saint Lounge with immediate effect. We have many expenses and responsibilities and your failure to make payment has affected our business and many families," the club captioned one post.
