Riky Rick's family says his wife Bianca Naidoo is "inconsolable"

The past few days have been incredibly difficult for the Makhado family following the death of Riky Rick.

The 34-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rikhado Makhado, passed away on Wednesday after losing his battle with depression. 

Family spokesperson, Sheikani Makhado, told the Daily Sun that there are no words to describe how they are feeling. 

Sheikani added that their mother is trying to be strong, but Riky's wife, Bianca Naidoo, has been inconsolable.

"Waking up knowing we had lost such a beloved family member was hard," he told the Daily Sun. 

Riky Rick and Bianca tied the knot in 2013. They welcomed their son, Maik Daniel Makhado, in 2014. Bianca also has a daughter named Jordan. Riky Rick treated his stepdaughter as his own and spoke fondly of both children. 

He shared a sweet video of himself doing Jordan's hair in 2019. "Daddy duties," he captioned the video.

Riky Rick often talked about the importance of family and keeping the ones you love close. He once credited his wife Bianca with saving his life.

Riky paid tribute to Bianca on their seventh wedding anniversary in 2020.

"Find yourself someone who loves you unconditionally. Someone who accepts you as you are but also does everything to help you grow into what you can be.‬ The past 7 years have taught me so much about life and love. Thank you for being the partner I've always wanted and blessing me with our seeds. I LOVE YOU MY QUEEN❤️😘 HAPPY ANNI BABE," he wrote on Instagram. 

"I LOVE MY CHICK," Riky Rick captioned a video of the couple dancing on Valentine's Day. 

Despite appearing in a few campaigns with Riky Rick, Bianca shies away from the public. She comes across as shy, but behind every great man is a great woman. 

Bianca worked as a business manager for her husband and oversaw several of his business projects. Before venturing into the business of entertainment, Bianca worked in the advertising and broadcasting sectors. 

She told 'Art of Superwoman' magazine in 2020 that she developed a thick skin working in entertainment. 

"I am naturally a private person. I have always worked hard to protect my privacy and that of my family. Particularly in an environment where it seems like everyone is comparing themselves against others. I have never wanted to live my life that way."

Bianca loves being a mom and spending time with her family. She told the magazine that she made a "conscious choice" not to get help so that she can spend as much time as possible with her children.

"It is not an easy balancing act, that is the choice I made to spend more quality time with our children."

Riky Rick featured the entire family in the music video for his song, 'Stay Shining'.
