Rihanna and Drake are no longer friends
"It is what it is," Rihanna says about her the current status of her relationship with Drake.
Rihanna and Drake's romantic relationship ended a long time ago, but it seems the on-again-off-again couple are not even friends anymore.
It seems like just yesterday that Drake was declaring his undying love for RiRi onstage at the MTV VMAs in 2016.
“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” Drake gushed while presenting her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
As they walked off the stage, Drake tried to kiss Rihanna on the lips but she gave him her cheek. Awkward!
Speaking to Vogue magazine for her June cover, Rihanna says the moment was uncomfortable.
"Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast," she said.

Rihanna, who apparently winced when Vogue mentioned Drake's name, then revealed the status of their relationship.
“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”
Ouch!
Rihanna is currently dating Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel. A source told the Hollywood Life that Riri thinks he is more of a man than Drake.
“Rihanna has nothing against Drake but when she compares him to Hassan there’s just no competition. Hassan is the full package. He’s a man and in her eyes, Drake is still a boy. She feels like a lot of what Drake does and says isn’t always sincere."
