Report: Naya Rivera's sister moves in with her ex-husband
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
The 'Glee' star's sister is reportedly living with her ex-husband to help take care of her son.
Naya Rivera's sister, Nickayla, is speaking out after news broke that she allegedly moved in with her ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey.
Naya passed away in July after an accidental drowning at a California lake. Her body was found five days after she disappeared.
Her son Josey was with her on the day she went missing but was found safe on the boat they had rented.
Josey has been living with his dad Ryan ever since. Ryan and Naya's family members have reportedly been supporting each other during the ordeal.
According to the Daily Mail, Nickayla and Ryan recently moved into a three-bedroom rented house together. Nickayla reportedly did so to help take care of her nephew.
But some social media users think the move is inappropriate.
"But yo sister wasn’t living with him either sis. They made it work," one woman wrote on Instagram.
Another user added: "You can raise your nephew in separate homes sweetie."
Nickayla shared a post on her Instagram Story defending herself.
"In the darkest time of my life, the only thing that is important is my friends & family, showing up for my nephew, even though I can't show up for myself."
The model added that she is not "concerned with the way things look" because nobody can see "each agonizing moment" they go through as a family.
"What matters most I've learned, is to show compassion, not to judge others, & never take a moment of life for granted. I hope you all do the same."
Many of Naya's fans have also come to Nickayla's defense.
"We love you so much Nickayla we can’t imagine your hurt & what you are feeling we know that but know we love you & will support you just like we do Naya!" one woman wrote on Twitter.

Nickayla's last post on her Instagram page is a picture of the sisters when they were younger.
"I love you," she captioned the image.
Ryan also shared a heartbreaking message on his Instagram page after Naya's death.
"This is so unfair...there's not enough words to express the hole left in everyone's hearts. I can't believe this is life now. I don't know if I'll ever believe it. You were just here... We were just in the back swimming with Josey the day before. Life just isn't fair," he wrote.
