Priyanka Chopra claps back at hater who questioned her movie credentials
Why did Priyanka Chopra announce the 2021 Oscar nominations? That's what one entertainment reporter asked and Priyanka pulled out her receipts.
Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas announced the 2021 Academy Award nominations this week, but not everyone was excited about the couple's big gig.
Entertainment journalist Peter Ford questioned why the stars were given the honour.
"No disrespect to these two but I'm not sure their contribution to the movies qualifies them to be announcing Oscar nominees," he wrote.
Priyanka did not waste time clapping back at Ford.
"Would love your thoughts on what qualifies someone. Here are my 60+ film credentials for your adept consideration @mrpford," she tweeted.
Her post included a video of all her IMBD credits.

Priyanka's latest film, 'The White Tiger', is nominated in the 'Adapted Screenplay' category.
It's up against 'Borat Subsequent MovieFilm', 'The Father', 'Nomadland', and 'One Night in Miami'.
Nick could not stop singing his wife's praises.
"So I got to announce the #OscarsNoms this morning with this beautiful woman, who also happens to now have produced and starred in an Oscar nominated film (The White Tiger). Congrats to all the nominees. I’ll be watching on April 25th," he tweeted.
