Pink's husband claps back after sharing pictures of their kids shooting guns
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
"No better sound than the bullet of your kids gun plucking a steel target at 30 yards," says Carey Hart after taking Willow (9) and Jameson (3) for shooting practice.
Pink's husband, Carey Hart, does not care what you think about him teaching his children how to shoot a gun.
The former professional freestyle motocross competitor caused an uproar a few days ago when he posted several pictures of Willow and James handling long-range rifles.
"Fun morning shooting w/ my kids! Willz is getting seriously good w/ the rifle and handling of a firearm. And jamo absolutely loves shooting! And the rate that he is processing the handling of them, he makes me proud," he captioned his post.
Carey added that if people don't like it, they should keep scrolling.
"I’m a firm believer in teaching my kids to shoot, but more importantly, handle a firearm. No better sound than the bullet of your kids gun plucking a steel target at 30 yards."

Social media users criticised the 45-year-old for teaching his children how to shoot guns at such a young age.
"This is a serious question but I'm trying to understand why people feel it's important to learn to shoot??.. I live in Australia and it's never crossed my mind to even buy a gun... We all know the farmers etc have guns but they are not noticeably around when you are on a farm... Etc.. I suppose I would like to know what use this skill will have for the children in the future?" one woman asked.
Another user added: “Doesn’t strike me as a kids activity … not at all. [Your] son is 3 or 4 at most and learning to shoot a gun? Smh.”
Hart clapped back: “No one asked you.”
He also defended himself when a Twitter user claimed that presidential hopeful Joe Biden planned to take guns away from Americans.
"It's bada*s you are teaching your kids. Which is why I'm so confused you would support the democrats who have stated they will take our guns. Unless only the rich will be allowed the privilege. Let that sink in as to why people will vote Trump."
Hart did not waste time setting the record straight.
"1st they don’t want to take your guns, and why has none of the 44 before been able to take them?? Second I’m a Republican who hates Trump, so I have no choice."

Many people also came to Carey's defence.
"So important!! Just like water safety, every child should learn gun safety!! Because you never know!" one woman commented.
Another added: "I grew up on a farm. My grandfather and my stepdad taught me and my brother from an early age how to shoot. My husband is ex-law enforcement and we are teaching our 5-year-old how to shoot, handle, and care for his rifle my hubby got him when he was born."
