Pink is done sharing pictures of her kids on social media: "I cried so hard"
Enough is enough! Pink is tired of mom-shamers bringing her down on social media.
Pink has vowed never to share images of her children on social media again after a bad experience that left her in tears.
The singer got a taste of just how mean moms can be on social media when she posted a picture of her kids enjoying a fun family outing.
While many of the star's six-million followers gushed over the sweet snap, some moms noticed that her two-year-old son, Jameson, was not wearing a diaper - revealing his circumcised genitals.
Several "perfect" moms questioned Pink's parenting choices.
"Pink: *posts a photo of son's mutilated penis on social media for the world to see like an idiot* Also Pink: You're all disgusting for shaming me for making a "parenting choice" to do cosmetic surgery on my perfectly healthy son's genitals," one woman wrote.
During a recent appearance on 'The Ellen Show', the 'Get The Party Started' hitmaker said she cried after seeing people's "mean-spirited" comments about her innocent family picture.
"People went as far as saying someone should call child services because he didn’t have a diaper on and how dare I and just like some of the nastiest things... I cried so hard after that," the 39-year-old.
It's not the first time Pink's mothering skills were slammed on social media. She was also criticised for sharing a video of Jameson saying "dammit" while playing with his cars.
Pink says she enjoys posting pictures and videos of her children, Jameson and Willow, but she will not do so anymore.
"I like to share my family, it’s my proudest moment. I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve done in my whole life and I just won't share them anymore, I won't do it. I'm not posting pictures of them anymore," she told Ellen.
Pink says she is open to constructive criticism online but she doesn't like how rude people can be just because they have anonymity.
"There’s a kind way to be online. And I’m open to kindness. Someone else taught me that the word ‘gypsy’ is derogatory and I’m not a person who uses derogatory language. I wrote back to them, ‘Thank you so much for being so kind and educating me. I’m editing it, I’m taking it down, and that word will never come out of my mouth again.’ There’s a way to do things."
