Oprah Winfrey wows on the cover of Vogue
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
The 'Queen of America' Oprah Winfrey is officially a Vogue cover girl.
Oprah Winfrey has been unveiled as the cover star for British Vogue's August issue.
Fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who has worked with stars such as Kendall Jenner and Rihanna, are behind Oprah's stunning cover.
The media mogul, who looks gorgeous in a custom-made taffeta gown by Stella McCartney, could not contain her excitement.
"This was an incredibly regal experience. Thank you @edward_enninful and @britishvogue for making me Empress for a day. And @mertalas, @macpiggott...a dream I didn’t even know I had to be photographed by you two," she wrote on Instagram.

During her one-on-one interview with writer Decca Aitkenhead, Oprah - the Queen of America - talks about attending Prince Harry and Meghan's royal wedding.
"It left me feeling that anything is possible through the power of love. Reverend Curry was right!” she told the publication.
Oprah also revealed that two days before the wedding she realised that the dress she commissioned from Stella McCartney looked more white than cream.
"I Googled, ‘Can you wear white to a wedding? Answer: ‘No, don’t risk it.'," she told the magazine.
Stella and her team had to remake the dress pink, which turned out to be a smart move because fashion critics couldn't stop raving about her look.
Oprah also talks about race, feminism, calls for her to run for President in 2020, and her inspiring Time's Up speech at the Golden Globes earlier this year.
