Nicki Minaj tries to 'break the internet' with risque Paper mag cover

Paper magazine teamed up with Nicki Minaj to do what Kim Kardashian failed to do in 2014 - 'break the internet'.

The rapper appears on the mag's latest cover, in what the publication has described as a “Minaj a Trois” - a play on the Ménage à trois phrase. 

Three different versions of Nicki are on the controversial cover. A topless Nicki - wearing pasties, thankfully - poses seductively on a chair, while a second Nicki grabs her breast, and a third poses near her crotch area while sticking her tongue out.

Nicki shared the cover on her Instagram account with the hashtag, #breaktheinternet.

Kim posed for the magazine three years ago, and nearly broke the internet thanks to a gravity defying cover that saw her balancing a glass of champagne on her famous derriere. 

The reality star seems to approve of Nicki's attempt. She liked the 'Anaconda' rapper's post, and commented with three fire emojis.

But while Kim seems to like Nicki's racy shoot, social media users are, well, kind of disgusted. 

But not everyone was disgusted. Some Twitter users described the cover as "fire".
