Megyn Kelly goes on weird rant about Meghan Markle calling Prince Harry "my husband"

American media personality, Megyn Kelly, has come under fire for bizarre comments she made about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.

Megyn slammed the Duchess for constantly referring to her husband, Prince Harry, as, uhm, "my husband".

"My producer was pointing out that in her latest podcast [Archetypes], her guest mentions Harry and Meghan replies, 'Oh my husband, he's great'.... my producer, Kelly says, 'Is it just me or it is so annoying how she always refers to him as my husband?' It's not just you, Kelly, it's all of us," she said on a recent episode of her podcast, 'The Megyn Kelly Show'. 

Megyn was referring to an episode on Meghan's podcast titled, 'Good Wife/Bad Wife, Good Mom/Bad Mom', with Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, Pamela Adlon, and Sam Jay. 

The 41-year-old royal talked about her life at home with Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet. 

Megyn has made no secret of the fact that she dislikes Meghan. The 51-year-old mother of three labelled Meghan a "commoner" who has a "less than 22% approval rating” in Britain. 

Megyn also called Meghan a "liar" for claiming she did not know much about the royal family and Harry when they first met. She also noted that Harry was the most "eligible bachelor" of Meghan's generation.

“We get it, you bagged the gorilla. Congratulations, you got the big bear. You want us to know, we know!"

Social media users slammed Megyn, saying her jealousy was clearly showing. 

"@megynkelly Her husband, her husband, her husband, her husband, her husband! How sad that you lead such a bitter life! Oh yeah and one more thing….he IS her husband! Jealous much?" one Twitter user wrote. 

Another user added: "The fact that Megyn Kelly said the quiet part out loud that she's disturbed Meghan Markle calls her husband her husband confirms that racist people are upset that Prince Harry chose a Black/ biracial woman to marry. Megyn is also jealous that HRH Meghan spells her name correctly."

Some social media users also called Megyn a hypocrite, noting that she also calls her partner, Douglas Brunt, "my husband".

Despite Megyn's negative comments, fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were thrilled to hear how the family is doing.

Meghan revealed in her podcast that she makes Harry and their children breakfast every day. 

“I make breakfast for all three of them. It's very important to me. I love doing it. To me, it just feels like the greatest way to start the morning," the former 'Suits' star revealed. 

Meghan added that she then feeds the family's three dogs - Mia, Guy, and Pula, before getting "Archie out the door for school". 

She also talked about what it is like having two toddlers in the house. She described her morning routine as a bit of a "whirlwind". 

And here's the quote that seems to have gotten Megyn and her producer's knickers in a knot. Meghan was describing how supportive Harry is as a husband. 

“Oh, my husband? He's great. To do this as a single mom, I bow down to you. How someone does this without a partner to help them through it is so much work to be a mom when you are just trying to be a conscious parent to raise good kind human beings, and to do that solo, is the most impressive, admirable thing on the planet.”
