Lerato Sengadi, HHP's wife, is the lady behind the song. She talks about what inspired her to produce the single.
Hip Hop Pantsula's wife, Lerato Sengadi, has produced a song in honour of the late star.
Lerato took to Instagram to share the inspiration behind the song. She says she wanted to give her late husband, HHP, whose real name is Jabulani Tsambo, a song as a birthday present. The late star would have turned 41 on 14 September. He was found dead in his Johannesburg home on 24 October 2018.
"It started with me having a crazy idea of wanting to gift Motho a song on his birthday. I prayed on it. I phahla’d on it. And Modimo le Badimo showed up for me & guided me," she wrote.
Lerato said this was the first time she produced a song, and credits its success to the guidance she received from the late star.
"I put my entire heart into making this track. I’ve never executive produced a track before but because Motho was guiding me every step of the way we created a banger!!!!," she wrote on Instagram.

Collaborations
Lerato has thanked South African rapper Focalistic for featuring on the song.
"@focalistic Maradona! All it took was ONE phone call & u were there! You brought the right energy and spirit. I am so proud to pass the baton to u. Jabba walks with you always. Thank You. I’ve gained a Lil Brother in you," she wrote on Instagram.
She also shared how the song was inspired by HHP's friends who have been asking, "what would summer be without Jabba?".
"To Jabba’s FANcestors; at least this year y’all won’t be asking #WhatWouldSummerBeWithoutJabba," she wrote on Instagram.
Lastly, Lerato says she did the song as a labour of love.
"Motho, this was a labour of love. I know you love it," she wrote on Instagram.
