Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend chats big age gap
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Age ain't nothing but a number! Camila Morrone doesn't get the fuss over her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Leonardo DiCaprio's 22-year-old girlfriend, Camila Morrone, says she is not bothered by negative comments about their 23-year age gap.
The model and actress has been dating the Oscar winner for two years and is constantly asked about her older man on social media.
"There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date," she told the LA Times in an interview.
Camila, who is receiving praise for her role in 'Mickey and the Bear', says she understands why people are curious about their romance, but doesn't want her relationship with the 45-year-old to overshadow her growing acting career.
"I think more and more now that people are seeing the film, I’m slowly getting an identity outside of that. Which is frustrating, because I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating. ... I understand the association, but I’m confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation.”

While Camila is not shy about discussing her relationship withLeonardo, 'The Revenant' star has been mum about their romance.
He has, however, been spotted being a typical boyfriend. During a trip to France for the Cannes Film Festival, Leo was pictured taking pictures of Camila - probably for the Generation Z's Instagram page.
