Lasizwe Dambuza slays the streets of New York City
From the kasi to America! Lasizwe turned heads in the Big Apple.
Lasizwe Dambuza is living his best life.
The YouTube star was one of several influencers who were invited to the 2019 Video Music Awards (VMAs) in New York.
He wore a black suit from Keys Fashion and a blonde wig for his first VMAs appearance.
"Meet a South African Barbie going to #VMAs Awards," the 21-year-old captioned a picture of his look for the event.
Lasizwe got to watch Camila Cabello, Taylor Swift, Missy Elliot, The Jonas Brothers, and Normani perform live at the show.

Before hitting the red carpet, Lasizwe was pictured visiting the Statue of Liberty and riding the subway. "There’s no after robot here or shor’ left. It’s 'taxi' or the subway," he joked.
Lasizwe was overwhelmed by his experience in the Big Apple. "I can’t believe a boy from Soweto🇿🇦is now in New York!"
