Prince Kaybee hopes his donation will inspire others to help KZN's flood victims.
Local musician Prince Kaybee is doing his bit to help victims of the devastating floods in KwaZulu-Natal.
The 'Fetch Your Life' hitmaker took to Twitter to reveal that he will be donating R150,000.
"Donating 150k to the families that lost their homes in Umlazi. It's not enough so if you inspired by this post join me lets rebuild Ulmazi. #PrayForDurban #PrayForUmlaz," he wrote.
Durban's Umlazi township was one of the hardest hit areas. Several homes in the community were damaged.
The death toll in the KZN storm has risen to 51, with thousands of people being displaced. Roads and other structures have also been damaged.

#@Umlazi Q section
The sad part about this is there are families who were left homeless during the floods back in 2017 and their houses are still as damaged. pic.twitter.com/LktwT0OVKk
Shame man! Some family in Umlazi H section just lost their entire home to the floods. I hope there was nobody inside! #DurbanFloods #DurbanRain #ecrTraffic pic.twitter.com/1aVqxWXN5z

WATCH: Rescue services and community members who are searching for the body of 10-year-old Mnotho Mlotshwa who was trapped in his house when houses collapsed run as the mud slides. They seemed to be unaware and were cautioned by people watching. #Umlazi #DurbanFloods @IOL pic.twitter.com/bOWNGAsFFU

Just got off the phone with Councilor Amon Dladla and confirmed with Lucky Mncube, the uncle of #MnothoMlotshwa... The families have been told to sleep with friends/neighbours tonight as community halls are full. At least 5 houses collapsed in this Umlazi area. #DurbanFloods pic.twitter.com/yQn0Hcscg8
