Khaya Mthethwa's paying a small fortune for his son's pre-school fees

One of the biggest expenses parents will face for at least 18 years is the cost of their children's education.
While some parents are willing to cough up thousands of Rands for a good education, will you be willing to spend R90,000 a year for a toddler's education?
That's how much gospel star Khaya Mthethwa is expecting to pay to send his almost two-year-old son to pre-school next year.

The 'Settle For Less' singer revealed the shocking amount on Twitter.
"My son's preschool fees for next year Jesu," he tweeted.
Actress Nomzamo Mbatha replied to his post, saying that pre-schools charge R20,000 these days.
But Khaya said he would be paying a lot more.
"How does 90k a year sound like?"

Khaya and his ex-wife, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene, welcomed their son in February last year.
The former lovers have kept their son out of the spotlight, opting not to share pictures of his face on social media.
Khaya told Drum magazine in June 2019 that their son stole their hearts.
"Having a son is a huge thing for a man - it's something to really treasure. And it's also a God-given gift to have someone carry the lineage forward," the 32-year-old said.
