According to Us Weekly, the 39-year-old singer recently had to stay at home after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Kelly made a virtual appearance on the show from her home. She was dressed in a robe and had a satin eye mask on her head.

Taraji commented on Kelly's laid-back appearance to which the former 'American Idol' winner joked: "Sometimes women don't rise, Taraji. Sometimes we fall."

The 'Stronger' singer added that quarantine has been a little rough with her children, River and Remington.

"I thought we were done with quarantining, and I'm so tired," said the mom of two. "I broke a nail. I'm so broken. This is me broken. My almond milk just expired. America, this is what I look like. You're welcome."

Kelly says she is keeping her kids busy by watching their favourite movies, including Disney's 'Encanto'

"When I watch a movie with my children, it’s like watching three movies. We’re watching 'Encanto' and then you’re listening to my son who always leaves like mid-movie and just starts singing the soundtrack, and then you have River who literally just, right after the line is said, she just repeats like she’s memorizing dialogue for a play.”

Kelly also revealed that she misses her show and can't wait to get back.

"I'm not even sick. It's so weird. Anyway, we're keeping it safe and that's it," she told Taraji. Despite a few days of downtime, Kelly - who is also renovating her home - revealed that she is yet to take down her Christmas tree!

"...look. It's busy. There's a lot going on. And so, I have not had time...I have all my stuff up," she told Taraji.
