A contestant on 'American Idol' called Katy Perry out for a hurtful remark she made on the program that appeared to be mommy shaming her for having three children at the age of 25.
Katy Perry has come under fire after she made a "hurtful" comment to one of the contestants on 'American Idol'.
Contestant Sara Beth took to TikTok to talk about the unpleasant experience she had on the show.
When she reportedly revealed that she was the mother of three kids at just 25, Idol judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan expressed shocked.
Katy even stood up and clutched the table in front of her, leaning back on it in shock, reports Billboard.

In response to Katy's reaction, the contestant said: “If Katy lays on the table, I think I’m going to pass out."
This led to another hurtful experience.
Katy then said: “Honey, you’ve been laying on the table too much.”
Beth says the comment really hurt her.
“It was hurtful and that’s that,” she said on TikTok.
She then said women need to support each other.
“I think that women supporting and uplifting other women is so cool, and I think that mom shaming is super lame and I think that it’s hard enough to be a mom and it’s hard enough to be a woman," she said on TikTok.
“I see all of the young moms and just moms in general … keep loving your babies,” Beth added.
“Nobody deserves to feel crappy about that,” she added.
