Jennifer Aniston joins Instagram and 'breaks' the app with first post
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
So no one told Jen Instagram was gonna be this way (insert the 'Friends' theme song here)?
Jennifer Aniston made her Instagram debut on Tuesday and nearly broke the app. The 50-year-old's first post got more than eight-million likes in less than 24 hours.
The actress also has over six-million followers - more than all her 'Friends' co-stars and they have been on these Instagram streets for years.
What picture did 'Rachel Green' share for her first post? A selfie with her 'Friends' buddies, of course.
"And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM," she captioned the shot.
Jennifer chose a simple bio for her new page: "My friends call me Jen."

Within hours of her joining, Instagram temporarily crashed because of all the activity on her page.
Jen received a warm welcome from millions of her fans and some of her famous friends.
Dolly Parton, Ellen DeGeneres, and fellow 'Friends' star Courteney Cox were some of the first stars to send her a message.
"Hi Jen! Welcome to the social media world...it sucks. You’re gonna love it!" Courteney wrote.
