It is time! 'The Lion King' tickets go on sale in SA

Disney's remake of 'The Lion King' is already breaking records and it has not officially been released yet.
The moment fans of 'The Lion King' have been waiting for is almost here.
Advance tickets for the live-action remake went on sale around the world this week ahead of the movie's July release.
The Disney movie is already on track to break box office records.
According to Deadline, 'The Lion King' earned the best first-day presales for a Disney movie on ticket seller website, Fandango.
It also the second highest first-day presales for 2019, behind Marvel blockbuster, 'Avengers: Endgame'.
The remake stars one of South Africa's respected actors.
Local star John Kani is the voice of Rafiki. He is one of several big names, including Beyoncé (Nala), Donald Glover (Simba) and James Earl Jones (Mufasa), lending their voice to the much-loved characters.

A sneak-peek of Beyoncé and Donald Glover cover of 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' was released a few days ago. Simba and Nala sing the song in the movie.
Elton John recorded the romantic song for the movie's soundtrack in 1994. The song earned him a Grammy Award for 'Best Male Pop Vocal Performance'.
