At your first glance through Kylie’s Instagram account, you get the impression that she is one ridiculously pretty, stylish and rich teen brat who at only 17 drives a matt black Jeep and a Mercedes.
But once you keep scrolling through the pics, her gothic dark style starts to become more evident and her pictures more edgy. A bit racy for a 17-year-old…hmm.
Kylie Jenner has also chopped off her hair and plumped up her lips to look so much larger than they were before.
But wait for it, amidst the photodrama of cuddling with sons of other famous celebrities, her emerald green hair selfies and recollections of her jet set life, is an image of Angelina Jolie back in her grungy, wild days. An image which Kylie captions, “everything.”
Suddenly young Kylie’s vamped up beestung lips, dark hair, skull rings and raised eyebrow pics make more sense…Kylie is following in the steps of Hollywood’s former bad girl Angelina Jolie.
Is this a cry for attention? Does Kylie struggle with her actual identity that she feels compelled to be someone else? We get that she is trying to find herself - many young girls go through phases. But it’s a little extreme when you have to cosmetically plump up your lips in your teens to try and look like someone else.
It’s a little sad when you see young girls that don’t feel comfortable in their own skin try really hard to be someone they’re not. It’s such a waste of the person they are really meant to be.
C’mon Kylie: just be real and be yourself. Because that’s the best that you can be!
